Andree Martinez

Andree was raised at El Paso Texas. She was born and brought up at Chihuahua Mexico. Her family is full of entertainers. At a very early age Karla (Host on Univision's Despierta America!) and others from the family were close to her. As a young child her family was filled with television personalities such as her sister, Karla (Host on Univision's show DespertaAmerica)! Andrew Martinez is the vice president for Safety, Security and Business Resiliency for Southern California Edison, one of America's biggest electric utilities. SCE puts a lot of emphasis on safety of its employees as well as business security and resilience. Martinez is accountable for supplying safety leaders within the organization with the mentoring and quality programs necessary to reach the goals of their safety groups. Before taking on his current position Martinez was director of Safety Training and Compliance for Transmission & Distribution at SCE. Previously, Martinez was the director for Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services. During his 30 years with SCE Martinez has held several management positions in corrective actions and improvement initiatives, including posts in the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) focused on protecting employees and the public from risks.
